Marc’s Tented Camp is located in the Motlala Game Reserve which is a 3 000-hectare private reserve that lies adjacent to Greater Kruger. It’s ideally located to the iconic Kruger National Park and the major attractions in the northern safari hub of South Africa.
Guests stay in classic safari tents that are basic but comfortable. Each tent has an electric fan, mosquito nets and comfortable single beds with linen, towels and soap provided. There’s a swimming pool in the camp and a covered breakfast lapa that overlooks a large waterhole.
Children of all ages welcome at Marc’s Tented Camp.
SHEARWATER EXPLORERS VILLAGE ǀ Accommodation in Victoria Falls
Shearwater Explorers Village offers budget-friendly accommodation close to the main attractions of Victoria Falls. It’s located less than a 1 kilometre walk from the Falls and the centre of town which is famous for its traditional craft markets, wide choice of restaurants and vibrant tourist hub.
The lodge offers a combination of comfortable chalets, domed tents and Overland camping sites. There’s free Wi-Fi available and a shuttle service to the main attractions aswell as a popular restaurant and bar, sparkling swimming pool and a spa centre on the property.
Each chalet is air-conditioned and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. There is a daily housekeeping and turn-down service, and an outsourced laundry service; all for a price that’s exceptionally reasonable for international travellers.

THE BLUE HOUSE ǀ Accommodation in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town
The Blue House is a historic Victorian guesthouse located in Tamboerskloof in the heart of the Cape City Bowl. Guests staying at the striking modern guesthouse enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain and Lions Head and are only a short 10-minute driver from the main city attractions. This includes the Kloof Street, Long Street, the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Civic Theatre, Atlantic Seaboard and a selection of some of the most outstanding beaches on the Cape coastline.
Each spacious room is ensuite and stylishly decorated. Travel in an air-conditioned tour vehicle from Johannesburg to Tremisana Game Lodge. It’s approximately a 5-6 hour drive with refreshment stops along the way. The lodge is located in Balule Game Reserve which falls within Greater Kruger.
Settle into your chalet and relax until it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in Balule Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle. Enjoy a starlit dinner at Marula Tree Boma which is set up deep in the bushveld.

Early morning wake-up for hot beverages and rusks and then we set off for a remote corner of Balule Game Reserve for a 4-hour guided bush walk along the Olifants River with an armed safari guide. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a real bushveld experience while keeping a keen eye on the thick bush for the Big 5 and an abundance of plains game and indigenous birds.
Return to Tremisana Game Lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments. Relax around the lodge until it’s time to depart after lunch at about 15h00 for an afternoon game drive in Balule Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle.
Instead of returning to Tremisana Game Lodge, we make our way to Marc’s Tented Camp in Motlala Game Reserve which lies adjacent to Greater Kruger.

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then it’s time to depart for a full-day safari tour in Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle. We enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-south and central region. Lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp (your own cost).
Return to your camp late afternoon as the sun is setting. Dinner is served at the outdoor boma under the stars.

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then it’s time to depart for a 1-hour guided bush walk in Motlala Game Reserve with an armed ranger. Return to the camp for a hearty breakfast; pack up and be ready to depart for the return journey to Johannesburg.
We travel via the famous Panorama Route and stop along the way at the main viewpoints and for refreshment breaks (your own cost). Expect to arrive in Johannesburg between 17h00 and 18h00.

Wake up early for breakfast. We depart for OR Tambo International Airport to catch a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls (cost of flight is not included in the tour price).
On arrival in Victoria Falls, you’re picked up and transferred to Shearwater Explorers Village in an air-conditioned shuttle bus. Book in, freshen up and enjoy the lodge facilities before it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 4-hour sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River.
The boat cruise on the Zambezi River includes a 3-course dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne. Cash bar for other drinks. Return to your lodge at about 9pm.

Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Depart at about 08h00 for a 2-hour guided tour of the iconic Victoria Falls. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure enjoying whichever add-on activities grab your fancy (your own cost).
Victoria Falls has earned itself the reputation of being the “Adrenalin Capital of Africa” and offers an exciting array of head-rushing activities; from bungee jumping 100 plus metres off a railway bridge to white water rafting through the Batoka Gorge and sitting on the precipice of the mighty falls in Devil’s Pool.
Or, you can opt to take it easy and enjoy a tour of the historic Victoria Falls Bridge and a leisurely afternoon at a spectacular restaurant that overlooks the mighty waterfall. A real treat is High Tea on Stanley’s Terrace at the Victoria Falls Hotel.

Take in the highlights of the cosmopolitan Cape Town City Bowl, the vibrant coastal towns of the Atlantic Seaboard and continue on a scenic drive to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve at the southernmost tip of the Peninsula. You can take a funicular ride to the legendary Cape Point.
Spend time exploring Simon’s Town, penguin watch at Boulders Beach and drive through the quaint seaside towns that hug False Bay. The day ends with a leisurely stroll through the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Early breakfast is served at The Blue House and then we depart for a half-day Cape Winelands tour.The half-day tour takes you on an incredibly scenic route to the historic town of Stellenbosch in the heart of the Cape Winelands.
Stellenbosch falls along what is known as the ‘longest wine route in the world’ which extends from the iconic Groot Contantia Wine Estate in Cape Town to the arid plains of the Little Karoo. You’re taken on a short tour of Stellenbosch to show you historic landmarks and the beautiful heritage buildings before arriving at the first of two premier wine estates. After a tour of the cellars, join a representative of the estate to sample their finest wines which are paired with delicious local cheese.
We head off to the second wine estate for the same delicious wine tasting experience. You can buy your favourite vintage at the farm’s shop before leaving for the drive back to Cape Town. Dine in or eat out at a popular restaurant in the area (your own cost).
