Your journey winds its way through the magical Garden Route to a small town called Albertinia, which lies at the foot of the serene Langeberg Mountains. Book into your accommodation; rest and freshen up before departing for a late-afternoon Big 5 safari tour of the privately-owned game reserve.
Overnight at Garden Route Game Lodge. Buffet dinner served under the stars at the outdoor boma or in lodge restaurant.

Early wake up for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in the private game reserve. This is the best time to see animals and birds in the bushveld. Return to the lodge mid-morning for a late breakfast.
Depart for the return journey to Cape Town going via the local reptile park, the bustling coastal town of Hermanus which is famous for whale-watching and popping into Betty’s Bay to see the African penguins. Stop for lunch along the way.
Arrive in Cape Town late afternoon, depending on traffic. It’s advised on to book a scheduled flight out of Cape Town that departs before 21h00.
