Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and known by the local people as “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, meaning “the smoke that thunders”.
It lies on the boundary between Zambia and Zimbabwe in southern Africa and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Africa.
The mighty Zambezi River cascades over the falls edge, dropping 90 metres down into the Zambezi Gorge; sending a column of spray towering high into the air when the river is high. The town itself is known as the “Adrenalin Capital of Africa”, offering a vast array of fun activities for the whole family.
