Twin Lakes Safari Lodge is a 3-star eco-lodge offering affordable accommodation close to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The rustic safari lodge is
perched some 270 metres above the savanna plains, on the edge of an escarpment with a panoramic view of the spectacular Bunyaruguru great crater field in Uganda, the national park and the Kazinga Channel.
Up to 20 guests are accommodated in 8 spacious grass-thatched cottages; fully-equipped for you comfort and convenience and stylishly decorated in a contemporary African theme. Twin Lakes Safari Lodge boasts an excellent restaurant offering a choice of international and local cuisine.
Each chalet has its own private veranda. A view of Lake George and Lake Edward as well as the Rwenzori Mountain Range in the distance make it one of the most incredible places to stay for a safari tour in Uganda. The famous Kyambura River Gorge is a short drive from Twin Lakes Safari Lodge; home to the habituated chimpanzees.
It’s a visual feast of magnificent crater lakes, vast savanna plains, lush vegetation and outstanding Big 5 wildlife sightings. Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in western Uganda and is home to 612 bird species, the famous tree-climbing lions and an array of vulnerable species including the Uganda kos
and topi. A highlight of a trip to the national park is chimpanzee trekking in thick indigenous forest habitats.
Guests collected early (07h00) at an agreed destination; either Entebbe International Airport or a hotel/guest house within the city precinct.
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in an air-conditioned transfer vehicle, travelling via Mbarara. Stop for lunch enroute. Overnight at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge. Dinner served in the lodge restaurant.

Early wake up for a sunrise game drive in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The afternoon activity is a spectacular boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.

Your return trip to Kampala takes you on a leisurely drive to the magnificent crater lakes in the Bunyaruguru crater fields. Lunch at Mbarara and a quick stop at the Equator for photographs. Drop-off late afternoon at a pre-arranged destination.
