The Buhoma Mukono Community Development Association (BMCDA) has brought together over 7 000 community members for the benefit of development, improved livelihoods and conservation of natural resources. BMCDA assists local people to obtain gainful employment and empowers them with the necessary skills required for their jobs.
Revenue earned from our guests transfers to BMCDA and is then dispersed to local community projects. The following are some of those projects: Buhoma Community Primary School, Buhoma Community High School, Buhoma Gravity Water Flow Scheme, Rainwater Harvesting, Pineapple and Vegetable

Your last day is spent exploring Kampala, the capital city of Uganda and its historical sites on a guided tour; depending on your departure flight. Transfer to Entebbe Airport
for scheduled flight.
Gorilla trekking is dependent on the availability of permits. They are in high demand and it’s recommended that you book your gorilla trekking holiday to Uganda as early as possible. If a gorilla trekking permit is not available for Buhoma at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, it is possible to go trekking on the other side of the rainforest at Rushaaga or across the border in Rwanda.
