Accommodation adjacent to Greater Kruger
Marc’s Treehouse Lodge is located in the Motlala Game Reserve which is a 3 000-hectare private reserve that lies adjacent to Greater Kruger. It’s ideally located to the iconic Kruger National Park and the major attractions in the northern safari hub of South Africa.
The treehouse accommodation is rustic but comfortable. They are made of wood and reeds with a thatched roof, and blend seamlessly into the dense riverine vegetation. Comfort features include electric fans, mosquito nets and comfortable single beds with linen, towels and soap provided. Each treehouse has its own private bathroom and a viewing deck with a lovely view of Breakfast Dam.
THE KINGDOM AT VICTORIA FALLS
Accommodation in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
The Kingdom at Victoria Falls is one of the most popular places to stay at on the Zimbabwe side of the Falls. It’s a casual 10-minute walk from the iconic waterfall and the centre of town, and close to the main outdoor attractions. This striking hotel is known for its African-themed architecture that is inspired by the ancient Kingdom of Munhumutapa.
The Kingdom at Victoria Falls is more than just a hotel. It’s a family-orientated entertainment centre with a massive food court, 3 restaurants, indoor and outdoor bars, 4 pools, a man-made lake, spa and wellness centre, beauty parlour and hair salon and the popular Makasa Casino. The three-storey hotel is built around a magnificent artificial lake, and lies nestled in a lush rainforest.
Guests are collected from OR Tambo International Airport and transferred to a guest lodge in Johannesburg that is located close to the airport. Relax at the guesthouse and later eat out at a nearby shopping mall (for your own cost).

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Be ready to depart at about 8h00 for a full-day tour of Soweto. Your guide will take you to the main attractions where you’ll gain a real insight into the city’s turbulent political history and its vibrant modern-day culture. The Soweto tour includes lunch at a popular tavern and a tour of the world-famous Apartheid Museum.
Return to your lodge late afternoon. You can have a meal at the lodge restaurant or eat-out at a nearby shopping mall (for your own cost).

Wake up early for breakfast and then be ready to depart for the trip to Greater Kruger. It’s a 5-6 hour drive with refreshment stops along the way. The lodge is located in Balule Private Game Reserve.
Settle into your chalet and relax until it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in Balule in an open safari vehicle. Enjoy a starlit dinner at Marula Tree Boma which is set up deep in the bushveld.

Early morning wake-up for hot beverages and rusks and then we set off for a remote corner of Balule Game Reserve for a 4-hour guided bush walk along the Olifants River with an armed safari guide. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments. Relax and enjoy the lodge facilities until it’s time to depart mid-afternoon for a 3-hour game drive in Balule in an open safari vehicle.
Instead of returning to Tremisana Game Lodge, we make our way to Overnight in a rustic treehouse at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge in Motlala Game Reserve which lies adjacent to Greater Kruger. Dinner is served under the stars at the outdoor boma.

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then it’s time to depart for a full-day safari tour in Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle. We enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-south and central region. Lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp (your own cost).
Return to your camp late afternoon as the sun is setting. Dinner is served under the stars at the outdoor boma.

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then it’s time to depart for a 1-hour guided bush walk in Motlala Game Reserve with an armed ranger. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast; pack up and be ready to depart mid-morning for the return journey to Johannesburg.
We travel via the famous Panorama Route and stop along the way at the main viewpoints and for refreshment breaks (your own cost). Expect to arrive in Johannesburg between 17h00 and 18h00. You can have a meal at the lodge restaurant or eat-out at a nearby shopping mall (for your own cost).

Wake up early for breakfast. We depart for OR Tambo International Airport to catch a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls (not included in tour price).
On arrival in Victoria Falls, you’re picked up and transferred to Shearwaters Explorers Village in an air-conditioned shuttle bus. Book in, freshen up and enjoy the lodge facilities before it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 4-hour sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River.
The boat cruise on the Zambezi River includes a 3-course dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne. Cash bar for other drinks. Return to your lodge at about 9pm.
