Following pick-ups from your accommodation, you travel with your driver and guide to the Lion & Safari Park, which is located north of Johannesburg in The Cradle of Humankind. Following a short safety briefing, you will be taken on a 1-hour game drive in the predator enclosure in a specially designed open safari vehicle.
Guest should note that only the transfers to the Cradle and Lion park tours are private. The tour itself is not private since the location is public and shared with other people.
You can still get up close and personal with some of Africa's most incredible wildlife. Feel the lion's breath and the thundering of the gnu's hoofs from the comfort of our guided game drive or your own vehicle.
Afterwards you return to Cub World to observe the young lion cubs and other animals at the centre. If you have enough time, you can feed and interact with the tame giraffes at Cub World.
You can eat and drink at the Wetlands Restaurant (at your own expense) with its delicious array of dining options, and the kids can play safely in the supervised kids' playground.

After a fun day at the safari park, your driver and guide will return you to your address in Johannesburg.
You will be collected in a private closed vehicle by a private driver and guide from any accommodation address in Johannesburg.
Collecting time for a private half day morning tour will be between 08:00 and 09:00 and drop off between 12:30 and 13:00. For a private half day afternoon tour you will be collected between 13:00 and 13h:30 and dropped off between 17:00 and 17:30.
The duration of the half day private tour from Johannesburg is about 4 to 4.5 hours. Guests should take note that the duration of the tour includes the drive to and from the Lion and Safari Park. The time actually spent in the park itself is about two hours.
