A Sunset Bus Tour to Signal Hill is a must-do summer activity. Cape Town is one of South Africa’s most popular destinations, and in our opinion, it has everything to do with the city’s spectacular natural scenery.
Take a leisurely walk up the path to the top of Signal Hill and enjoy a magical sunset, gazing out across the great Atlantic Ocean while indulging in a picnic dinner. The city lights up at night and makes the drive back to the V&A Waterfront one to write home about.
Sunset over the Atlantic Ocean
It’s the perfect end to a day in Cape Town. Bring your camera along to capture a dreamy sunset and its reflection on the Atlantic Ocean.
A picnic on Signal Hill
Signal Hill, also known as Lion’s Rump, was once used to communicate weather conditions to arriving ships with the help of signal flags. It’s a famous hill connected to Lion’s Head. Together these hills form the shape of a sphinx. At more than 300 metres high, Signal Hill offers the most spectacular, panoramic views of the city of Cape Town. It’s arguably the most romantic picnic spot in the Western Cape.
Cape Town city lights after sunset
A view of the Mother City at night is a sight to behold. Guests are always blown away when they see Table Mountain and the city streets below lit up at night.
