Kick off your journey with a departure from OR Tambo Bus Terminal at 7:00 AM, arriving at a private camp near Kruger National Park by 1:00 PM after a scenic drive through Mpumalanga’s Highveld and Lowveld. After a quick lunch (not included) and check-in, embark on an afternoon sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle through a private reserve adjacent to Kruger. Keep your camera ready for potential sightings of the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—along with giraffes and zebras. Enjoy sundowners in the bush as the day winds down, followed by a return to camp for a hearty African dinner and stories by the campfire.

Rise early with coffee and rusks at 5:00 AM, setting out for Kruger National Park by 5:30 AM. Spend 7-8 thrilling hours exploring the Orpen-Satara area, renowned for its high lion concentrations and exceptional game viewing. Your expert guide will adapt the route based on wildlife activity, maximizing your chances for unforgettable encounters. Return to camp in the late afternoon to relax, then gather for a starlit dinner under the African sky.

Begin the day with a departure from Hoedspruit between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM to make the most of the daylight and avoid the midday heat. Dive into the stunning Panorama Route, featuring:
Return to Hoedspruit between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, concluding a day of scenic wonders.

After a hearty breakfast, opt for a 1-hour bushwalk (subject to availability, additional R350 per person) to explore the reserve’s flora and fauna up close with a guide. Depart camp by 10:00 AM, arriving back at OR Tambo International Airport between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Reflect on your adventure as you head home.

Guests are collected from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport between 7:00 and 7:30. Collections from any other Johannesburg hotels or addresses are possible at additional rates.

Keep in mind that if you plan to fly out of OR Tambo International Airport on the last day of the safari tour, we recommend booking a domestic flight no earlier than 19:30 and an international flight no earlier than 21:00.
You will be collected up from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and driven to Sekekama Tented Camp, where you will check into your glamping site at 14:00.
After some time to relax and enjoy the facilities, you will depart at 15:00 for a 3-hour afternoon sunset game drive in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon in an open safari vehicle.
You’ll get to see some of the park’s most famous animals, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes, before returning to camp about 19:00 for a great boma fire dinner and a tranquil night under the stars.
Your day may proceed in one of two ways: an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or having breakfast at the lodge first, departing and returning later.
The exact departure times will be communicated to you the night before as it will be decided according to animal activity at the time to give you the best opportunity for game viewing.
Your safari in Kruger will last about 7 to 8 hours, during which you will venture deep into the Orpen-Satara area, where your chances of seeing lions are better than anywhere else in the park.
You will return to the camp with ample time to unwind and get ready for a starlit dinner around the fire.
You’ll wake up early to be ready for a full-day safari into Kruger National Park while predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas are still active and get to view the sunrise over the park, which is a spectacular sight.

You will have dinner under the stars (with a complementary glass of wine) every night, where you will share your experiences with others and make new friends.
You’ll have another early morning, this time for an optional 1-hour bushwalk where you might view some new animals and learn more about the bush itself. Alternatively, you can choose an optional 3 hour sunrise drive for R1250 per person sharing, in Blue Canyon, Greater Kruger
Before bidding your farewell to the Kruger, you can eat breakfast at your camp after which you will be driven back to Johannesburg and dropped off at the airport between 17:00 and 18:00.
