We arrange your transfer from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport to Kapama Private Game Reserve in time for you to clean up and eat before embarking on an afternoon game drive with your ranger and tracker into the reserve. During the drive, you will stop for a sundowner and get the opportunity to stretch your legs while watching the sun set over the distant Drakensberg mountains. As nightfall approaches, the nocturnal animals of the bush emerge. During the trip back to the resort at night, a variety of distinct species might be observed. The adept tracker will sweep the landscape with a flashlight that highlights the eyes of animals. Arrival at the lodge is often around 19:00, leaving ample time to refresh up before a delectable meal.
Today you will rise between 5:00 and 05:30 for tea or coffee and rusks before setting off on a morning game drive.
