Chitwa Chitwa Lodge offers a perfect blend of African and contemporary luxury that will make you feel at home in the bush. You will stay in one of six spacious and comfortable suites with private decks, plunge pools and outdoor showers.
Each of the six beautifully furnished rooms opens onto a private lake-view balcony with its own private plunge pool, framed by a huge timber deck that views the neighbouring water – a favourite drinking spot for our abundant wildlife.
The deluxe suites are exceptionally big, ranging in size from 130 to 180 square metres, and can accommodate one extra bed for children under the age of 12 years.
All Chitwa Chitwa Suites have a soaking tub, indoor and outdoor showers, a fireplace, a minibar, a fan, a hairdryer, a tea and coffee maker, and an iPod docking station.

Start your safari by boarding a shuttle from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal at 07:00 and travelling through Gauteng and Mpumalanga. You will reach Sabi Sand inside the Greater Kruger National Park after a 6-hour drive with a refreshment stop along the way.
Arrive at the lodge around mid-day and settle into your luxury tent with a private deck and plunge pool overlooking the lake. Relax and freshen up before joining your guide for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the African stars and enjoy the warmth and ambience of a bushveld fire. Spend the night in your comfortable accommodation with lunch and dinner included in your deal.
Wake up early and have a hot beverage and rusks before heading out for your 3-hour game drive. Catch some of the nocturnal animals still active and witness the spectacular sunrise over the bushveld.
Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and decide how to spend your day. You can relax by the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, browse the curio shop, connect to the Wi-Fi or sip some drinks at the bar lounge.
Enjoy another exciting game drive in the afternoon, where you will have more opportunities to see the animals and learn about their behaviour and ecology from your expert guide. Return to the lodge just in time for another mouth-watering dinner and share your stories and memories with your fellow travellers.
Spend another night in your luxury accommodation, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included in your deal.
On your last day of your safari, rise early again before departing on your final game drive. Enjoy one last glimpse of the wildlife and the scenery as you say goodbye to Sabi Sand. Return to the lodge for breakfast and pack your bags.
Depart for Johannesburg around mid-morning and arrive at your drop-off point around 17:00, where you can catch your flight or continue your journey in South Africa.
