You may start the day with a visit to the Apartheid Museum in Soweto, a vital aspect of South Africa's history; then, in the afternoon, you could take a group bike tour around the city and marvel at its public art and amazing architecture. Brunch at one of Joburg's haute cuisine restaurants, or pick up some wonderful pastries and get a taste of France at Patisserie de Paris, and then visit Mr Vinyl, where you can discover records and mix-tapes of all genres and decades from across the globe. You might choose to spend the day in Gold Reef City or at the Pilansberg Game Reserve, either of which are potential options.
