Generally, the dry season (May to October) is considered the best time for wildlife viewing and game drives as the animals tend to gather around waterholes and are easier to spot due to the thinner vegetation. During this time, temperatures are also cooler and there is less rainfall, making it a comfortable time to visit.
If you are interested in birdwatching, the wet season (November to April) is a great time to visit, as it is when many migratory bird species arrive in the area. The landscape is also lush and green during this time, providing a beautiful backdrop for your safari.
