If you plan to fly out of OR Tambo International Airport on the last day of your travels, we suggest reserving a domestic flight that departs no earlier than 20h30 and an international flight that departs no earlier than 22h00.
After pick-ups, we drive to Lesedi Cultural Village which is located in world-famous The Cradle of Humankind, north of Johannesburg (about 35 to 45-minute drive from the city).
On arrival, you’re taken on a guided tour of 5 different traditional villages. This includes villages that depict the way of life of the Xhosa, Zulu, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele communities. You’re treated to an energetic ‘song and dance show’ and listen to animated tales told by the people of Lesedi Cultural Village. You’re encouraged to join in the dancing.
After the show, enjoy a delicious meal at Nyama Choma restaurant and sample authentic African cuisine and beverages. There is an extensive choice of African dishes on the menu, including crocodile and ostrich. Nyama Choma restaurant is divided into three themed areas: North Africa, East Africa and South Africa.
At the end of an wonderful time at Lesedi Cultural Village, your guide drives you back to the city.
