This private half-day tour introduces you to the scenic wonders of the Cape Peninsula which is an iconic natural landmarking Cape Town. The dramatic rocky peninsula stretches 30 kilometres from Table Mountain on the northern end to the southernmost tip that plunges into the icy Atlantic Ocean. It falls within the Table Mountain National Park which is world-renowned for its outstanding biodiversity. A highlight of the tour is Cape of Good Hope Nature and Cape Point. The world-renowned reserve is a wild protected wilderness area and home to an array of antelope, the rare Cape Mountain zebra and other unique animal species. It’s also a haven for birds, with 250 recorded species found in the reserve. We pass through the quaint and vibrant seaside towns that stretch along the length of the Cape Peninsula, which lie nestled between the towering mountain cliffs and the glistening Atlantic Ocean.

The day starts with a drive past Cape Town City Bowl and continues past the V&A Waterfront to the main suburbs of the Atlantic Seaboard. This includes Green Point, Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay. Travelling past the Blue Flag beaches along a scenic route with the Atlantic Ocean on your right and the Twelve Apostle mountains on your left. Making way to the fishing village of Hout Bay, over the Chapman’s Peak Drive and into the coastal town of Noordhoek. The scenic peninsula drive takes us to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point at the southernmost tip of the rocky headland. There we can see the famous Cape Point Lighthouse. We stop in Simons Town for refreshments. You can visit thepenguin colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee excluded in the rate) or stroll down the historic main street. Making our way back to Cape Town, travelling on the False Bay coastal route. We pass through the seaside towns of Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St James and Muizenberg. The streets are lined with bookstores, vintage clothing shops, surf shops and popular seaside restaurants. Arriving back in the city mid-day (13h00 for morning tour) or early evening (18h00 for afternoon tour).
