Villiera is a family run winery in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. For over 30 years, the Griers of Villiera have been unlocking the marvels of nature to create the distinctive wines and sparkling wines that bear the family name.
During the winery and cellar tour, you’ll learn about the history of wine and viticulture. Your wine guide will talk you through the process of wine tasting and teach you about the different wine styles.
Besides wine, Capetonians also enjoy good food… you’ll have the opportunity to taste locally-cured and dried meat samples, known as biltong.
Mitre's Edge Winery & Vineyard • Stellenbosch

We do a guided drive through Stellenbosch to a 100-year old family-run farm called Middelvlei. Surrounded by vineyards, you’ll enjoy their famous Boerebraai (farmer’s barbeque) followed by a wine tasting. You’ll have an opportunity to sample Middelvlei wines straight from the barrels.
Lovane Boutique Wine Estate • Stellenbosch
Lovane is an award-winning, working wine farm. You’ll learn more about the estate’s exclusive range of wine and learn how to perfectly pair chocolate and wine.
Vergenoegd Löw The Wine Estate • Stellenbosch
Vergenoegd Löw enjoys a unique position between the Helderberg Mountains and False Bay. The fresh ocean breezes cool the vineyards, infuse the fertile soil with a maritime character and allow the grapes to ripen more slowly. This distinctive terroir is one of the aspects that lend its wines their extraordinary taste.
Apart from wonderful wine tasting, you’ll enjoy the estate’s famous duck parade.
After a wonderful day filled with fine wines, delicious food and picturesque landscapes, we make our way back to Cape Town. You’re dropped at your accommodation between 17h00 and 18h00.
