Itinerary

Day 1 - Cape Town - Oudtshoorn (5 Hours Excluding Stops)

Guests are collected from Cape Town International Airport or a hotel/guest lodge by special arrangement. Depart for Oudtshoorn travelling inland on the scenic N2 highway. The towns of Oudtshoorn and De Rust lie nestled between the magical Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains.

Your day includes wine tasting at a well-known wine farm in Robertson and visiting a working ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn. This charming village is the largest town of the Klein Karoo and the Ostrich Capital of the world.

Overnight at Turnberry Boutique Hotel in Oudtshoorn.

Day 2 - Oudtshoorn - Knysna (2 Hours Direct, Excluding Stops)

Start your day with a delicious breakfast on the hotel patio and then depart for a tour of the world-famous Cango Caves. This is an elaborate underground labyrinth, complete with narrow stone passageways and vast caverns dripping with stalactites.

The drive from Oudtshoorn to scenic wonders of the Garden Route takes you over a dramatic mountain range known as Swartberg Mountain Pass. Enjoy a hearty Karoo lunch at the famous Kobus Se Gat restaurant located at the bottom of the pass.

After settling into your accommodation at The Graywood Hotel in Knysna, you’re taken of a tour of the historic village which includes visiting the Knysna Heads or, as an
alternative, the Knysna Elephant Park. Guests have the choice of a few fabulous restaurants at the famous Knysna Waterfront for dinner (for your own account). Overnight at The Graywood Hotel.

Day 3 - Knysna - Mossel Bay - Cape Town (5.5 Hours Direct, Excluding Stops)

Early wake-up for breakfast on the hotel patio and then depart for Mossel Bay. Guests are taken on a 2-hour safari tour in Botlierskop Private Game Reserve with a professional guide in an open safari vehicle.

Have lunch (for your own account) and spend some time exploring Mossel Bay before departing for the return drive back to Cape Town.
