Depart on the 07:00 shuttle from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to the Radisson Hotel in Hoedspruit. You will arrive in time for lunch around 12:30, and check-in by 14:00. Your first private safari excursion is a 3- hour sunset drive in an open safari vehicle in the pristine 15 300 hectares Blue Canyon Reserve, departing around 15:00. Your guide will do his best to find some of Africa’s rarest and most iconic wildlife species, including rhinos, elephants, lions, cheetahs and leopards, for you. Enjoy a majestic African sunset over the bushveld, with sundowners and snacks, before heading back to the hotel for dinner at 18:30
You and your group will depart around 5:00 with your private guide in an open safari vehicle and enter Kruger National Park at Orpen Gate. You will stop for snacks and lunch at a rest camp, and continue the safari until around 15:00, when you turn around and head back to the hotel.
You can either enjoy some free time at the hotel or do an optional 3 hour private morning safari (at own cost, around R5500 p/p), once again with your own guide in a private game viewing vehicle. Back at the hotel you can enjoy a latebreakfast before catching the shuttle back to OR Tambo International Airport.
