Take a morning flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit Airport, (flight included, quoted at a fixed rate but may vary at time of booking). Depart from the airport via shuttle to Ivory Moon Lodge in Hoedspruit.
Upon Arrival: Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge and check into your luxurious private bush suite, featuring a heated plunge pool, outdoor shower, and expansive deck.
Late Afternoon: Head out for a three-hour sunset drive in the Blue Canyon Reserve (10,000 hectares), home to rhinos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Enjoy sundowners and snacks amidst the wilderness.
Evening: Return to Ivory Moon Lodge for a 5-star dinner featuring authentic South African cuisine, paired with local wines, beers, or sodas (spirits and imported drinks at extra cost).
Overnight: Relax in your suite, immersed in the vibrant sounds of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, including hyena calls and bush baby activity.
Early Morning: Depart early for a sunrise safari in Kruger National Park’s Orpen Satara region, renowned for lion prides and Big 5 sightings (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard). A packed breakfast and bottled water are provided.
Morning (by 10 AM): Return to Ivory Moon Lodge for a quick shower and a full breakfast on the viewing deck, enjoying the bush surroundings.
11 AM: Check out and board the shuttle back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
