Begin your journey by departing from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg via shuttle to Ivory Moon Lodge in Hoedspruit. Option: For guests preferring to fly from Johannesburg or Cape Town to Hoedspruit, flights can be arranged at an additional cost—please contact us in advance to organize. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at Ivory Moon Lodge (included). Then, check into your luxurious accommodations. In the afternoon, set out on a 3-hour sunset drive in Blue Canyon Reserve, complete with sundowners and snacks. Later, return to Ivory Moon Lodge for dinner.
Start early with a departure for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park’s Orpen Satara area, renowned for high lion concentrations and Big 5 sightings (bottled water provided). In the afternoon, return to Ivory Moon Lodge for a restful evening and dinner.
Depart for a full-day Panorama Route tour, exploring the Drakensberg escarpment, waterfalls, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and God’s Window. Upon returning to Ivory Moon Lodge in the afternoon, relax by the fire in the African bush. Enjoy an early dinner of authentic South African cuisine, followed by a 1-hour night drive in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, spotting nocturnal wildlife like bush babies, porcupines, leopards, and hyenas. End the evening with a final toast with Amarula liqueur amid the sounds of the wild.
Join a 1.5-hour guided bushwalk in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, discovering flora, fauna, tracks, and plains game up close with expert insights. Afterward, return for a hearty breakfast on the scenic deck. Then, check out and take the shuttle back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
