Guests can fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from either Cape Town or Johannesburg. We will also meet you at East gate for transportation to and from Kapama Game Reserve. Depart for the Lodge at 7am. Arrive at the lodge in time for a light lunch. After some rest and freshening up, you will start your special adventure with a sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle. After enjoying the African sunset, you head home to the lodge to arrive in time for dinner.
For today you can arrange a private safari drive during which your guide will set up a special picnic or whatever the soon-to-be fiancé has in mind, usually without any pre-knowledge of the fiancée-to-be for it to be a surprise. The options are countless and may include balloons, champagne, a cheese and wine platter, whatever is wanted and pre arranged with the camp. The couple or husband-to-be can customise the whole event according to his and his beloved’s taste. Head back to camp to phone friends and family to tell them the good news and enjoy another starlit dinner and a good night’s rest.
Today you can enjoy the normal morning game drive along with other guests – and of course more accompanying congratulations – to experience the dawn of a new day and period as a couple. After the morning game drive, a scrumptious brunch is waiting at the lodge. The rest of the day you can spend at leisure, until late afternoon when it is time for a sunset drive again. Back at the lodge a starlit dinner awaits, and a good night rest will round off the day.
Today the couple can enjoy a last normal morning game drive along with other guests. You will be back at the lodge for a hearty brunch, after which it would be time to pack up and meet your transfer for your trip back to Hoedspruit airport. Arrive at Hoedspruit airport between 17:00 -18:00.
