This 5-day tour comprises two nights at Rhino Post Safari Lodge and two nights at Plains Camp. Your package includes Full Board Plus, including dinner, bed, breakfast, lunch and activities. Rhino Post Safari Lodge and Plains Camp are set in a private wilderness concession within the Kruger National Park, providing stunning game viewing possibilities, only 20 kilometres from Kruger’s Skukuza Airport. Rhino Post Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the dry Mutlumuvi River, overlooking a waterhole while Plains Camp is in the middle of the concession, overlooking the Timbitene Plain and waterhole. Plains Camp guests have an option to sleep under the stars on the Sleepout’s high decks – weather permitting. Guests can fly into Skukuza Airport and take a 25-40 minute road journey to the lodge or fly into Nelspruit (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport) for a 2 ½-3 hour transfer

You will be picked up from OR Tambo International for your transfer to Rhino
Post Safari Lodge. Upon arrival you will be served a chilled home-brewed
iced tea or drink before checking in to your accommodation. You are served
high tea in the lounge overlooking the waterhole at 15:30, before leaving for
an afternoon / evening game drive at 16:00 with professional guides in
specially modified open 4x4 vehicles. You will pause for sundowner drinks
and snacks at sunset before continuing and returning to the lodge in time for
pre-supper drinks and a meal on the veranda or in the dining room.
Before your game drive, you will have time for tea or coffee and a snack, and your guide will stop for tea or coffee halfway through your wildlife drive too. Brunch will be provided when you get back to the lodge; usually between 10:00 and 10:30, depending on the time of year and the length of the morning drive. Relax until high tea at 15:30, before heading out for an afternoon drive with sundowners in the bush. Back at camp dinner is served before heading to bed.
After an early wake-up call you will have time for tea or coffee and a snack before your game drive. Midway through your game drive, your will take a tea or coffee break too. When you return to the lodge, brunch will be served between 10:00 and 10:30. At 14:00, you will be transferred by 4x4 to Plains Camp, a 30-minute ride that includes a mini-game drive. After settling in, high tea is served, followed by a briefing on the "do's and don'ts" of bush walking after which you depart to a spot from where you do a brief introductory walk. Each hike is led by two armed guides. You will return to the vehicle in time for sundowners and a brief night drive before reaching camp.
Go on a morning walk lasting 3 to 4 hours, including a rest stop for a quick snack. Lunch is served after returning from the morning walk. Choose t to cool off in the plunge pool or relax on the terrace until High tea which is followed by an afternoon walk and a brief evening game drive. The day concludes with drinks around the fire and dinner.
Following a snack and tea or coffee, you will go on the final bush walk before breakfast is served, after which you will be taken to Rhino Post Safari Lodge for check-out and departure to OR Tambo International airport. The order of accommodation may differ, depending on availability and the day of arrival. An optional sleepout from Plains Camp must be pre-booked.
