Be ready for a private pick-up from any address in Pretoria or Johannesburg for the journey to Madikwe Game Reserve. On arrival at the lodge, you can enjoy lunch (served from 13:00 to 14:00) after which you will have time to unpack and rewind. At 15:00 (winter) or 15:30 (summer) afternoon tea with something sweet and savoury are served and at 16:00 (summer) or 15:30 (winter) your afternoon game drive departs. Between 18:30 and 19:30 you should be back at lodge after the game drive and dinner will be served.
In summer you will get your morning wakeup calls at 05:00 and in winter at 06:00 to enjoy tea or coffee with muffins before your morning game drives. You should be back at the lodge around 08:30 to 09:00 from the game drive, when breakfast will be served. After breakfast you relax until lunch with time for more relaxing or exploring of the lodge until afternoon when tea with something sweet and savoury are served. During these longer stays you can also spend time on optional activities like bush walks at an extra cost. In the afternoon you will depart on an open vehicle safari, and be back at the lodge in time for dinner.
After your morning wake up call, enjoy tea or coffee with muffins before your morning game drive. You will be back at the lodge in time for breakfast. After breakfast, get ready for your transfer back to the city.
