Description:

Located in the world-famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve, next to Kruger National Park, lies the Elephant Plains Game Lodge, a place of cosy elegance and economical luxury.

The Sabi Sand, which borders the national park without any dividing fences, is renowned for great game watching, and visitors can expect game drives and bush walks that live up to their wildest dreams. You can expect to see the “Big 5” up close and personal, and you may also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a wild dog or cheetah during the course of a 3-day Elephant Plains Game Lodge Safari Tour.

Since its inception in 1998, the same family has owned and operated this renowned piece of heaven on earth. The resort overlooks vast veld and a watering hole from its perch on the dry riverbed of the Manyeleti.

The main building features a lobby, several dining halls, a lounge, bar, wine cellar, and a gift shop selling various mementos. There is room for up to 24 people, so you and your party can enjoy the kind of intimate service that only a small establishment can offer.

There are several different types of rooms available at the resort, from the more rustic rondavels to the more extravagant Manyeleti Honeymoon Suite. There are also two pools, a fitness centre, and a recreation room.

With an own observation balcony and breathtaking views of the riverbed and veld, these luxurious open-plan rooms are second to none. Each room is equipped with central air conditioning, an overhead fan, a fireplace, a mosquito net, a safe, a minibar, and a coffee and tea maker.

All around, guests always wish they could stay longer or return because of the magnificent accommodations, delicious food, and casual atmosphere.
