Your adventure begins when you arrive at the lodge. Your transport from Johannesburg to the lodge can be arranged (shuttle, private transfer and flights) at an additional cost. Arrive at the lodge and settle into your luxury tent, with a private deck and plunge pool overlooking the lake. Relax and freshen up before joining your guide for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the African stars. Spend the night in your comfortable accommodation at Chitwa Chitwa Lodge, where lunch and dinner are included in your deal.
Wake up early and have a hot beverage and rusks before heading out for your 3-hour game drive. Catch some of the nocturnal animals still active and witness the spectacular sunrise over the bushveld.
Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and choose how to spend your day. You can relax by the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, browse the curio shop, connect to the Wi-Fi or sip a drink at the bar lounge.
Get ready for another exciting game drive in the afternoon, where you will have more opportunities to see the animals and learn about their behaviour and ecology from your expert guide. Return to the lodge just in time for another mouth-watering dinner and share your stories and memories with your fellow travellers.
