Guests are picked up from OR Tambo International Airport at 07:00am. The journey to Kapama Private Game Reserve in Mpumalanga Province takes you through the vast Highveld, down the escarpment, and into the picturesque Lowveld region. Arrive at Kapama by mid-day, just in time for a light lunch before beginning your special adventure with a sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle. After witnessing the breathtaking African sunset, you return to the lodge in time for dinner.
For today you can arrange a private safari drive during which your guide will set up a special picnic or whatever the soon-to-be fiancé has in mind, usually without any pre-knowledge of the fiancéeto-be for it to be a surprise. The options are countless and may include balloons, champagne, a cheese and wine platter, whatever is wanted and pre arranged with the camp. The couple or husband-to-be can customise the whole event according to his and his beloved’s taste. Head back to camp to phone friends and family to tell them the good news and enjoy another starlit dinner and a good night’s rest.
Today the couple can enjoy the normal morning game drive along with other guests – and of course more accompanying congratulations – to experience the dawn of a new day and period in their lives. You will be back for a hearty breakfast, after which it would be time to pack up to leave for your trip to OR Tambo Airport, arriving between 17:00 – 18:00.
