Tremisana Game Lodge is located in Balule Private Nature Reserve which is a protected wildlife area that falls within the Greater Kruger National Park in northern region of South Africa. Balule is made up of a collection of private game farms which are unfenced and collectively they share an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park. It’s a Big 5 wildlife destination in an area renowned for its outstanding biodiversity. Katekani Tented Lodge is a tented safari camp located close to Hoedspruit in the Greater Kruger National Park. Situated in a prime bushveld area that borders the Kapama Game Reserve, Katekani Tented Lodge offers guests an authentic safari experience with easy access to the iconic Kruger National Park. Guests have a choice of 6 classic permanent safari tents which are carefully positioned on an elevated stand under a traditional thatch roof, offering spectacular views of the surrounding bushveld. Each safari tent comes standard with its own private deck and splash pool and an ensuite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Pick up from your hotel in JHB or O.R. Tambo Airport and travel via the Highveld grasslands to Tremisana Game Lodge in the Kruger Park. Board an open Landcruiser for a 4h Sunset Drive, your first opportunity to experience the fauna and flora of Africa. Watch the magnificent African sunset and, after dark, use a spotlight to view nocturnal animals. Dinner at the Marula Tree Boma will be a BUSH BBQ. After dinner, continue with your Night Drive and overnight in en suite air conditioned chalets.
At sunrise we drive to the Olifants River for a 4h Bush Walk. Your rangers will show you many secrets of the bush. Adrenalin surges will be acute even if your rangers are adequately armed. Return to Tremisana for brunch. Relax around pool and after lunch go onan afternoon game drive. Transfer to Katekani in late evening.
After breakfast, you drive on an open Game Viewer to the ORPEN gate of Kruger Park. You will have a full day of game viewing and bird watching in this world-renowned game reserve. Return to Katekani for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy another full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park. Dinner and overnight at Katekani.
You go on a short morning walk with an armed ranger. After breakfast, drive via the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendours of Blyde River Canyon including a stop at the Three Rondawels. We return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off by arrangement.
PICK-UP/DROP-OFF POINTS
Guests are collected and dropped off at OR Tambo International Airport (shuttle bus parking area opposite Terminal B). Look out for the Viva Safaris white Toyota Quantum tour vehicle.
By special arrangement, guests can be collected and dropped-off from their hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria (broad city precinct). Please pre-book this with your MoAfrika Tours representative.

If you plan to fly out of OR Tambo International Airport on the last day of the safari tour, we suggest booking a domestic flight that departs no earlier than 19h30 and an international flight that departs no earlier than 20h00.
