Guests are collected from the OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal around 07:00 and transferred to the lodge by road in a comfortable vehicle. It is a 5 to 6-hour drive, with necessary pit stops en route. Upon arrival at the lodge, guests will have time to refresh before embarking on the first afternoon/sunset safari drive in the game reserve. The safari drive will be conducted in an open safari vehicle, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the wildlife experience. After the exhilarating game drive, guests can indulge in a scrumptious dinner served in the boma at the lodge, offering a unique dining experience.
Start your day early with a guided morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, allowing you to witness the African wildlife in its natural habitat. Return to the camp and savour a delicious breakfast, followed by leisure time to relax or explore the surroundings until lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on another exciting safari drive in the open vehicle, taking in the sights and sounds of the wilderness. Experience the beauty of a breath taking sunset before heading back to camp for dinner. Gather around the campfire for engaging conversations and memorable moments before retiring for a restful night's sleep, ready for the adventures of the next day.
On this last day of your safari, you will have time for one more early morning safari drive. After breakfast, you will be collected from the Lodge and transferred back to OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg.
A 5 day Imagine Africa Lodge Safari usually include spending four nights in luxury tents and have breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, guided safari drives in the morning and the afternoon, and all entrance and conservation fees are covered. Some tour operators may offer the option of a guided Panorama Route Tour at an additional cost.
Beverages or other personal expenses are not included in the five-day Imagine Africa Lodge Safari. It also does not include gratuities.
Once an agreement has been made between yourself and a tour operator, any cancellation of the safari requires written notification. While exact percentages will be discussed during agreement process, cancellation/refund procedures remain in force regardless. Return amounts generally depend upon how soon notice was given: depending on the tour operator, cancellations with less than seven days’ notice may result in forfeiture of payment entirely while cancellations more than 30 days out could incur either 25% forfeiture, 50% forfeiture or both as penalties.
