Guests can arrive at Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport via Cape Town or Johannesburg where you will be picked up from Eastgate for your trip to the nearby Kapama Game Reserve. We will make sure that you arrive at Southern Camp in time for you to freshen up and eat before you go on your first afternoon game drive into the reserve with your ranger and tracker. On the way, you will make a stop for a relaxed sundowner, and during this break, you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs while watching the sun set over the Drakensberg mountains in the distance. The animals of the bush that are active only at night become more visible as dusk fades. On the way back to the resort after dark, guests might catch a glimpse of a diverse collection of individual species. The skilled tracker will search the environment using a flashlight that shines light on the eyes of the animals they encounter. Arrival at the lodge is often around 19:00, leaving ample time to refresh up before a delectable meal. Your accommodation is arranged and provided at Kapama Southern Camp.
The final day of your safari will begin with an early morning wildlife drive and, hopefully, a few more unforgettable sightings. After the drive, you will have another hearty breakfast at the camp before being transferred to the Eastgate airport for your return flight.
