Immerse yourself in the heart of nature, surrounded by breath-taking landscapes and a rich diversity of wildlife. From luxurious accommodations to thrilling game drives and leisurely moments, this tour promises an experience that will captivate your senses and create lasting memories of Africa’s natural beauty and wildlife wonders.
Fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from Johannesburg OR Tambo. We will meet you at Eastgate for transportation to Kapama Game Reserve. After a light meal and some time to clean up, you will go on a game drive deep within the reserve with your guide and spotter. Along the route, you will pull over for a drink and some fresh air as the sun sets behind the Drakensberg Mountains. The nocturnal animals of the jungle emerge as dusk approaches. A variety of unique species may be noticed on the way back to the resort at night. The skilled tracker will sweep the landscape with a flashlight that illuminates animal eyes. Arrival at the lodge is usually around 19:00, in time for a delicious dinner. Includes: lunch and dinner.
Today you will rise between 5:00 and 05:30 for tea or coffee and rusks before setting off on a morning game drive. The reserve's wildlife is typically more active in the morning due to the reserve's colder temperatures, and the softer light makes for excellent photographs. After a substantial breakfast at the lodge, you will have time to relax by the pool, read a nice book, and enjoy the rest of the lodge's amenities. After a sumptuous high tea, you will go on an afternoon wildlife drive that may last past twilight; the day will invariably conclude with a delicious dinner and a discussion of the day's sightings. Includes breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The final day of your safari will begin with an early morning wildlife drive and, hopefully, some unforgettable sightings. After the drive, you will have breakfast at your resort before being transferred to the Eastgate airport for your return flight to Johannesburg. Your private shuttle will pick you up for your journey to Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Relax before it’s time to depart for a late-afternoon game drive in the reserve in an open safari vehicle, with a professional game ranger. Return to the lodge as the sun is setting and enjoy a gourmet dinner at the restaurant. Includes: Breakfast & dinner.
Set off early after hot beverages for a 3-hoursunrise game drive in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the rest of the day at the pool or in your suite. Enjoy a light lunch and relaxation before it’s time to depart for the late-afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. End your day with a delicious dinner in the restaurant or at the outdoor boma on warm evenings. Includes: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Wake up early for hot beverages and then depart for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle.
