Catch the 07:00 shuttle from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to the Radisson Safari Hotel in Hoedspruit. Arrive in the afternoon for lunch around 12:30, check in at 14:00, and settle into your room. At 15:00, head out for a 3-hour sunset drive in the Blue Canyon Reserve, a 38,000-hectare sanctuary for rhinos, elephants, and lions, with sundowners and snacks provided. Return for dinner at 18:30. Depart at 05:00 for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle, with a packed breakfast to savor in the bush.
