Your journey starts with a comfy pickup from Johannesburg between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. Arrive at Pilanesberg by 9 AM and immediately depart on a 3-hour morning game drive with MoAfrika Tours in an intimate 10- seater open safari vehicle—perfect for spotting the Big Five!
By noon, arrive at the stunning Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge for a delicious lunch and seamless check-in. Unwind, soak in the views, visit the underground hide, or enjoy the pool before your next adventure. Very early wake-up for the lodge’s sunrise game drive with Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge (20-seater). Departure is between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM (exact time depends on sunrise season) and you return around 9:00 AM for a hearty breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning relaxing at the lodge’s top-notch facilities or at the underground hide—pure bliss! At 12 PM, join a short game drive in a closed vehicle for more wildlife thrills, or opt to relax at the lodge (pickup at 2:30 PM if skipping the drive).
