Marc’s Tented Camp: Located in the Motlala Game Reserve which a private reserve that lies adjacent to Greater Kruger. Guests stay in classic safari tents that are basic but comfortable. Each tent has an electric fan, mosquito nets and comfortable single beds with linen, towels and soap provided. There’s a swimming pool in the camp and a covered breakfast lapa that overlooks a large waterhole.
Shearwater Explorers Village: Offers budget-friendly accommodation close to the main attractions of Victoria Falls. It offers comfortable chalets, domed tents and overland camping sites. Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then it’s time to depart for a full-day safari tour in Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle. We enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-south and central region. Lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp. Return to your camp late afternoon as the sun is setting. Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then depart for a 1-hour guided bush walk in Motlala Game Reserve with an armed ranger. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast; pack up and be ready to depart mid-morning to return to Johannesburg. We travel via the famous Panorama Route and stop along the way at viewpoints and for refreshment breaks. Expect to arrive in Johannesburg between 17h00 and 18h00. Wake up early for breakfast. We depart for OR Tambo International Airport to catch a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival, you’re picked up and transferred to Shearwaters Explorers Village. Depart for a 4-hour sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River. The boat cruise includes a 3-course dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne. Return to your lodge at about 9pm. Enjoy a hearty breakfast then depart at about 8h00 for a 2-hour guided tour of the iconic Victoria Falls.
