Travel from Johannesburg in an air-conditioned vehicle to Tremisana Game Lodge in Balule Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger. Settle into your chalet and relax until it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve. Be back in time for a starlit dinner at the Marula Tree Boma deep in the bushveld, before heading back to Tremisana with a spotlight drive of approx. 45 minutes.
Get an early morning wake-up call for hot beverages and rusks before setting off to a remote corner of the reserve for a 4-hour guided bush walk with an armed safari guide along the Olifants River. Return to Tremisana Game Lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments and relax around the lodge until it’s time to depart for the late afternoon game drive again. Enjoy the African sunset and return to the lodge for another starlit dinner.
Wake up early again for hot beverages and rusks and then it’s time to depart for a full day safari into the Kruger National Park. You will enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-south and central region. Break for lunch (at your own cost) at a popular Kruger Park rest camp, continue your safari and return to the lodge in the late afternoon. After dinner, enjoy a good night’s rest in anticipation of your journey back to Johannesburg the next day.
Wake up early and join a guide for your last game drive in Balule Game Reserve. After a hearty breakfast, prepare for departing mid-morning on a return journey to Johannesburg via the famous Panorama Route. Arrive in Johannesburg late afternoon (approximately 17h00) and sleep over at a midrange hotel like the Southern sun at OR Tambo.
Today you board a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls where you should arrive in time to check in and explore your accommodation at Shearwater Explorers Village in Victoria Falls town, for by late afternoon, you will depart on a Zambezi River Dinner Cruise. You will be picked up to drive to where you board the boat for your dinner cruise that lasts about 3 hours. Enjoy a magical sunset over the Zambezi while having a 3 course meal. After the cruise, you will be dropped off at Explorers Village again.
After breakfast at Explorers Village, you will depart on a guided tour of the falls, which will keep you occupied for the morning. This afternoon you have some free time for optional extra activities like a visit to Devils pool, a Chobe game drive, Canopy tour or Zipline. Enjoy dinner at own cost at Shearwater Explorers Village or any other restaurant in the area.
After breakfast you will have some more free time for at least one more optional activity or some shopping, then you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight. Excludes: Flight
Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule Game Reserve is a largest and leading lodge with 15 chalets and a two-bedroomed guesthouse, accommodating a maximum of 34 guests. Every unit is en suite (with shower, toilet, basin) and airconditioned, with mosquito nets, 24-hour WIFI, and more.
Explorers Village is a 3-star Lodge only 400m from the Victoria Falls, with 54 deluxe rooms, 42 standard rooms as well as serviced camping facilities. It overlooks virgin African bush and a waterhole frequently visited by elephant and buffalo but also is near the craft markets and entertainment area. Southern Sun O.R. Tambo International Airport offers comfortable accommodation minutes from the terminals. The hotel features modern rooms with flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and coffee-making facilities. Guests can enjoy dining at the on-site restaurant, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool, along with a complimentary shuttle service to the airport.
