The Black Rhino Game Reserve is a malaria-free game reserve that can be reached from Johannesburg in just over two hours.
In the Big Five Black Rhino Game Reserve, you will have the opportunity to view some of the most magnificent animals in Africa while riding in an open 4-wheel drive safari vehicle with an experienced guide both in the morning and in the afternoon.
The Black Rhino Reserve is a private game reserve that is located on the edge of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in the northwestern part of the reserve. The predominantly mixed sour veld vegetation of the Pilanesberg is a type of habitat that is known to be home to a diverse range of game species such as elephants, rhinoceroses, buffalo, lions, and leopards.
The sweet veld vegetation of this lower-lying reserve complements the predominantly mixed sour veld vegetation of the Pilanesberg.
The reserve’s private entrance is on its western side.
The reserve is well known for the presence of the rare and elusive black rhino. With over 350 different bird species having been identified in the region, it is a true paradise for birdwatchers

Tambuti Lodge has five luxury suites, all of which feature modern elegance and high-quality furnishings. All of the suites offer bush views and privacy and are surrounded by striking Tambuti trees. Each has an en-suite bathroom with twin hand basins, a bath, indoor and outdoor showers, a separate toilet, and a private patio.
The Zebra Pool View Suite has a king-size bed, double vanities, a toilet, a bath, an indoor and outdoor shower, and a refrigerator, as well as a private deck with an outside kitchenette, two chairs, and a table.

Rates
Rates are inclusive of 15% VAT and quoted in South African Rand per person sharing per night. A 10% surcharge applies over peak times – Christmas and New year inclusive.
Single occupancy rooms incur a 25% surcharge on the rate.
Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted at Tambuti Lodge.
Children 16 years and older will need to be accommodated in their own room at the applicable adult rates (a single supplement applies).
