Emnothweni, formerly known as Dullstroom, is a tiny town in Mpumalanga that is located on the R540 road around 35 kilometres to the north of Belfast and approximately 53 kilometres to the south-west of Lydenburg.
As the highest village in South Africa at 2100 metres above sea level, the town is a favourite training base for elite European athletes during the summer months.
The town is known as a prominent fly-fishing destination in South Africa and is known to have some of the lowest temperatures in Mpumalanga province. This once sleepy town in Mpumalanga has recently emerged as a top attraction for travellers from all over the world, as well as those from South Africa.
We offer daily shuttle services between Johannesburg and Dullstroom.
Visitors will be able to take advantage of a wide variety of attractions. To give one example, the Dullstroom Bird of Prey & Rehabilitation Centre provides visitors with an unforgettable adventure. The Anvil Ale Brewery serves delicious beer in a relaxing setting, and Dullstroom on Horseback gives guided trail rides for people who appreciate spending time outside.
In addition, there are a significant number of restaurants and lodging establishments.
