Your driver will meet you at OR Tambo airport at 07:00am for your trip to Kruger Shalati. You should arrive between 12:30 and 14:00 to be in time for lunch served at Bridge House. By 14:00 you can check in to your suite and enjoy a rest until 16:00 when High tea is served in the lounge carriage. Promptly at 16:30 you will depart on the afternoon game drive of about 3 hours, including a drinks break at sunset. By 19:30 you will be back at the train where dinner will be served at Bridge House after which you can enjoy a good night’s rest in the comfort of your suite.
Set the clock for very early as you need to be ready by 05:00 when your morning safari of three hours departs. This safari includes a stop for tea or coffee while enjoying the sun rising over the African bush. Between 08:30 and 10:00 you should be back in time for breakfast served at Bridge House. Enjoy your surroundings or explore Skukuza Rest Camp until lunch, served at Bridge House from 12:30 to 14:00. After lunch you can cool off in the unique swimming pool high above the river until 16:00, when High tea is served at the lounge carriage. At 16:30, your afternoon game drive of 3 hours in an open safari vehicle departs. It includes a drinks break at a spot from where you can enjoy the sunset. At nightfall, you might spot elusive cats out hunting but by 19:30 you should be back for dinner at Bridge House.
Be ready by 05:00 for a final morning safari with a tea or coffee stop at sunrise, before heading back for breakfast served from 08:30 to 10:00. Pack and have a good final look at the river and surrounds for check-out by 11:00 and your transfer back to Johannesburg. You will be dropped off at your accommodation at the airport for the night.
You will depart from OR Tambo airport to Victoria falls in the morning. Upon arrival at Victoria Falls airport, you'll be transferred to the Lodge and checked in. After refreshing yourself, a captivating Zambezi River cruise awaits. Marvel at the stunning river scenery while enjoying delicious finger snacks and drinks and cap off the evening with dinner at the Lodge.
After breakfast, set off on a guided walk of the majestic Victoria Falls rainforest to experience the awe-inspiring beauty up close. Upon return to the lodge, choose to relax, or opt for an exhilarating helicopter ride over the Falls for an amazing aerial view of the waterfall, the bridge, and the river. End your day with an afternoon game drive and sumptuous dinner at the Lodge.
Today you can enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in open land rovers as well as an hour-long tour of the nearby high-care Wildlife rehabilitation centre and laboratory facilities. Enjoy cocktails and canapés on the Batoka Gorge game drive on the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary.
Savour a delicious breakfast before going on an enchanting safari in Zambezi National Park. Ride in open vehicles and spot an array of wildlife in their habitat. Return to the Lodge to pack up, check out, and be transferred to the airport, cherishing the unforgettable memories of your visit.
