Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and known by the local people as “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, meaning “the smoke that thunders”. It lies on the boundary between Zambia and Zimbabwe in southern Africa and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Africa. The town itself is known as the “Adrenalin Capital of Africa”, offering a vast array of fun activities for the whole family.

PheZulu Guest Lodge is a newly-opened lodge located in a quiet part of town on the Zimbabwe side of the Falls. It’s ideally suited for families, couples and single travellers; offering modern, comfortable accommodation that reflect the vibrant colours of Africa. It’s only a short 3.5 kilometre drive from the entrance to the Falls and the main tourist attractions.

Each ensuite room is stylishly decorated, and comes standard with air-conditioning and ceiling fans, mosquito nets and a tea and coffee station. There are no TVs in the rooms but you’ll find one in the main lounge. A triple-size rooms with an extra bed for a child is available, as well as baby cots. A sparkling pool, outdoor bar and large lounge are perfect for lazy afternoons and evenings.

The rate includes a full English breakfast which is served at the outdoor boma. Meals for lunch and dinner at PheZulu Guest Lodge are available but need to be pre-booked in advance. Bear in mind, PheZulu Guest Lodge doesn’t offer a complimentary shuttle service but you can call for a taxi.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival and Sunset Cruise

You’re picked up from the Victoria Falls Airport and taken to your accommodation in an air-conditioned shuttle bus. Freshen up and enjoy the restaurant and pool facilities before it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 4-hour sunset & dinner cruise on the Zambezi River. Includes a 3-course dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne. Cash bar for other drinks. Return to your lodge at about 9pm.

Day 2 - Guided Tour of the Falls

After breakfast, make your way to the Victoria Falls National Park for a 2-hour tour of the Falls. Entrance fee payable at the gate. In summer, you’ll be given raincoats to keep dry from the spray that comes off the cascading water.

In the afternoon, take your pick from optional adventures such as:
• Zambezi Game Reserve Tour
• Helicopter Tour: Get a bird's-eye view of Victoria Falls.
• Bungee Jump from Victoria Falls Bridge
• Tandem Gorge Swing and Zip Line
• Boma Dinner with Dancing: Immerse yourself in local culture

Day 3 - Chobe Full Day Safari

After breakfast, take a full-day trip to Chobe National Park near Kasane, Botswana, just a short distance from Victoria Falls.
Meet a Botswana guide at the Kazungula border post. Enjoy a morning game viewing cruise on the Chobe River, followed by lunch at a riverbank hotel. In the afternoon, take an exhilarating game drive in the park. Return to Victoria Falls by 18:30 with your Zimbabwean guide. Bring passports and possibly visas. Children must be at least 2 years old. Activity order may change.

Day 4 - Victoria Falls

Wake up early for breakfast Following breakfast, you can choose to relax and enjoy your last day at Victoria Falls leisurely, or you may opt for any of the previously mentioned or similar activities that you haven't experienced yet.
