The lodge welcomes children of all ages and offers child-friendly activities to keep them entertained while you relax and soak up the peace and tranquility of the bushveld. A special feature of Jack’s Tree Lodge is Terrapin Hide which is a unique animal hide built in the middle of a waterhole and which get to via an underground tunnel.

Jaci’s Safari Lodge is a bold and beautiful safari retreat in Madikwe Game Reserve which lies tucked away in a lush riverine forest close to the Marico River. Luxurious modern décor, splashes of bright colours and the rustic thatch-and-stone design of the safari lodge create an Afro-chic ambiance that is stylish, warm and welcoming.
Guests stay in spacious tented suites which exude old-world charm and modern elegance. The tented suites are custom-built with low stone walls, canvas roll-up sides and a suspended viewing deck. The main lodge has had an extreme makeover and features an elegant lounge and indoor dining area with splashes of Jaci’s trademark vibrant décor.
A popular attraction is the Terrapin Hide which is built in the middle of a waterhole and reached via a submerged tunnel. The hide has viewing windows at the water’s level which gives photographers a unique angle to photograph animals and birds at the waterhole.
Children of all ages are welcome at Jaci’s Safari Lodge.
Guests are picked up early in Johannesburg and driven to Madikwe Game Reserve. It’s approximately 4.5 hours to the game reserve and we arrive at Jaci’s Safari Lodge late morning. Settle into your luxury suite; relax and freshen up before it’s time to depart for the late-afternoon game drive. Game drives are in an open safari vehicle with a professional ranger. Return to the lodge after an exciting night drive and enjoy a starlit dinner at the outdoor boma or in lodge dining room.
Overnight at Jaci’s Safari Lodge in Madikwe Private Game Reserve.

Wake up early for hot beverages and then depart for a 3-hour sunrise game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the wooden deck or in your airconditioned suite. Be ready to depart after High Tea for the late-afternoon game drive and return for dinner well after dark.
Overnight at Jaci’s Safari Lodge in Madikwe Private Game Reserve.

Wake up early for hot beverages and then depart for your last game drive in Madikwe. Return for a hearty breakfast; pack up and be ready to leave mid-morning for a private transfer back to Johannesburg. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation in Johannesburg at approximately 17h00.
