The Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa is home to many different landscapes, from the jumbled hills of Tshwene Tshwene to the hills that suddenly rise from the flat northwestern plains near the Botswana border.

From the Jamala Madikwe watchtower guests can overlook the Savannah plains and waterhole, or they can enjoy a drink from an open air bar or get some exercise in the large lap pool.

Enjoy game drives every day in the beautiful Madikwe Game Reserve, which is free of malaria. Expert guides take you on morning and evening game drives every day so you can see the wildlife in the Madikwe area.
Madikwe Game Reserve is an old place where nature shows its age-old play of life and death between hunters and those who are hunted. Jamala Madikwe is right in the middle of the reserve’s treasure trove of animals. It is filled with the sounds of birds and mischievous Vervet monkeys.
The lodge offers amazing safari experiences, such as seeing the “big five” and “super seven.” The phrase “Big 5” meant the five most dangerous animals to hunt in Africa. The word is still used today, but it doesn’t mean “to hunt” anymore. The extremely rare Wild dog and Cheetah are also part of the “Super 7.”
At Jamala Madikwe, you can experience this diverse and rich ecosystem with over 130 mammal species and 300 bird species, not to mention the vast landscapes of plant life that keep the whole reserve alive and healthy for all its inhabitants.
Twice a day, at dawn and dusk, you go on game drives. You will see the sunrise and sunset under the amazing African sky while seeing animals every day. Most game drives last between three and four hours, and they are all included in the rates.
At Jamala Madikwe, there are three outstanding game rangers. They have FGASA qualifications, advanced rifle skills, and first aid training. These qualifications make sure that guests have a great time and learn a lot about the game. The safety of guests is top priority. Madikwe Game Reserve makes sure of this by giving all guides ongoing training and monthly evaluations.
The owners make sure there are two safari vehicles every day, and depending on the size of the group, each vehicle can hold up to six people. Private cars can be rented for an extra fee if they are available.
