Dumela Tented Camp in the Motlala Reserve is located in an area where guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the Drakensberg mountain range, as well as activities such as hiking and table tennis.
The camp offers en- suite tented accommodation, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a restaurant, and access to a garden with an outdoor pool. The tented camp offers free private parking and breakfast is served to guests.
Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 41 kilometres away and the Orpen Gate to the Kruger National Park only 20 minutes.
You will be collected up from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and driven to Dumela Tented Camp, where you will check in to your glamping site at 14:00.
After some time to relax and enjoy the facilities, you will depart at 15:00 for a 3-hour afternoon sunset game drive in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon in an open safari vehicle.
You’ll get to see some of the park’s most famous animals, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes, before returning to camp about 19:00 for a great boma fire lunch and a tranquil night under the stars.
Your day may proceed in one of two ways: an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or having breakfast at the lodge first, departing and returning later.
The exact departure times will be communicated to you the night before as it will be decided according to animal activity at the time to give you the best opportunity for game viewing.
