What makes Victoria Falls so special is it offers a combination of a breathtaking visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World with incredible game viewing as well as adventure activities which have earned Victoria Falls the title of ‘Adventure Capital of Africa’.

Victoria Falls is the perfect ‘three-in-one’ tourist destination. The 4-day Best Budget Safari tour booked through Moafrika Tours is ideal for incredible scenery and a Big 5 game viewing experience combined with a pleasant stay in budget-friendly accommodation in Victoria Falls.

The first evening in Victoria Falls is spent floating down the mighty Zambezi River on a sunset boat cruise. It’s the perfect way to view game and birds found along the lush river banks. The next morning guests are taken on a tour of the iconic waterfall and then have the rest of the day to spend in Victoria
Falls enjoying a choice of popular activities and exploring the town of Victoria Falls.

The third day is focused on exploring the beautiful natural surrounds and enjoying an early morning or late afternoon safari tour in Stanley & Livingstone Private Game Reserve. The region is home to the Big 5 and an incredible array of wildlife and beautiful birds.

Guests are accommodated in a budget-friendly hotel or guest lodge which is clean and comfortable and close to all the major attractions in Victoria Falls. Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your lodge before departing mid-morning for a guided tour of the Falls. This includes a leisurely walk through the Rainforest on the Zimbabwe side of the Zambezi National Park.

Lunch at Rainforest Café close to the Victoria Falls waterfall is optional.

Spend the afternoon enjoying the activity you selected. This could include a helicopter Flight of Angels tour, a walk with lions or an elephant interactive safari at The Elephant Camp or something more adrenalin-pumping like bungee jumping or the longest bridge slide in Africa.

Make your way to The Bridge Café for sundowners. This stunning eatery is built on a platform overlooking the Batoka Gorge and offers guests a panoramic view of the waterfall and Zambezi National Park. The location is hands down the best in town.

Order a delicious meal at The Bridge Café or choose to eat at one of the many popular restaurants in the town of Victoria Falls. Make arrangements for pick up and drop off times with your guide. Avoid walking back to your lodge late at night, particularly if you’ve had a bit to drink.

If you’re visiting Victoria Falls during the Full Moon and if the sky is clear; you’ll witness one of the most magical sights in Africa which is called the Lunar Rainbow. This is when the light of the moon reflects off the towering column of spray from the Falls.

Friday and Saturday night is party night at Shoestrings Bar for vibey youngsters. For something more romantic, Three Monkeys is a cocktail bar and restaurant set up in an renovated 1935 railway carriage. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is quaint and endearing.

Day 3

Today is focused on exploring the rugged bushveld surrounds of Victoria Falls and enjoying a blissful game drive through a private game reserve. Enjoy either an early morning sunrise safari tour or a late afternoon sunset excursion. Both are spectacular and the best time to see game in Africa.

The 3-hour game drive is run by Shearwater Safaris and takes you to Stanley & Livingstone Private Game Reserve which is a 4 000 hectare private reserve on the outskirts of Victoria Falls.

Stanley & Livingstone is home to the Big 5 which includes black rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard as well as over 2 000 species of wildlife. A highlight of the safari tour is a close encounter with 7 endangered black rhino which roam the property. These incredible giants are highly endangered and enjoy the safety and protection of the reserve’s flagship conservation programme.

When not out on a game drive, enjoy one of the TWO activities you selected as part of your tour package. Enjoy lunch at one of the popular restaurants situated on the edge of the Falls or treat yourself to High Tea at the legendary Victoria Falls Hotel.
